To help you choose the perfect Sweet Adventure, we have categorised our mountain climbs into three levels based on fitness and experience requirements. Read on to find the ideal mountain adventure that suits your capabilities:

1. Beginner:

Suitable for beginners or those with limited hiking experience.
Terrain: Mostly well-defined paths with gentle inclines.
Recommended Fitness Level: Able to hike for 2-4 hours at a comfortable pace.
Example Climb: Conquering Catbells in the Lake District - A perfect introduction to mountain climbing, offering stunning views of the lakes and surrounding fells.


2. Intermediate:

Ideal for hikers with some hiking experience and a moderate fitness level.
Terrain: Varied, including moderate ascents and uneven paths.
Recommended Fitness Level: Comfortable hiking for 4-6 hours with occasional steeper sections.
Example Climb: Scaling Snowdon - A challenging yet attainable climb, allowing you to conquer Wales' highest peak and savor breathtaking panoramas.


3. Advanced:

Geared towards experienced climbers with a high fitness level.
Terrain: Steep ascents, rocky trails, and possible exposure to challenging weather conditions.
Recommended Fitness Level: Capable of sustained climbing for 6-8 hours with strenuous uphill sections.
Example Climb: Conquering Ben Nevis - The pinnacle of mountain climbing in the UK, requiring physical endurance and mental resilience, rewarding you with unparalleled views from the summit.

 

3. Expert:

Geared towards climbers who want to experience scmabling.
Terrain: Long Steep ascents, rocky trails, and possible sections of scrambling.
Recommended Fitness Level: Capable of sustained climbing for 6-8 hours with strenuous uphill sections.
Example Climb: Conquering Crib Gock - This Grade 1 Scramble will test even the most experienced of mountain hikers.
